The image of a mosquito in the VCRU logo represents one of the arthropod groups that cause vector-borne disease. The VCRU logo consists of the VCRU emblem and the words “Vector Control Research Unit” and “USM”. With its bold color, the VCRU will keep striving for innovation and providing high-quality research excellence.
Gold: The gold color is taken from the color in the VCRU crest to symbolize the passion and commitment to providing high-quality and excellent testing services.
Black: The black color symbolizes firmness and confidence and a neutral stand.
White: The white color symbolizes honesty and transparency.
Circle: The circle symbolizes honesty, consensus, and interconnectedness between USM and VCRU.
Mosquito: The mosquito symbolizes one of the arthropod vectors of vector-borne disease.
